Junior Designer, Apparel

As a Junior Designer at New Era Cap, Benjamin designed products for seasonal apparel lines as well as licensed exclusive collections. His work included projects for MLB Armed Forces Day, MLB Field of Dreams, the MLB Rugrats collaboration, MLB Spring Training, the World Cup of Hockey, and NASCAR. He also took ownership of the quick-turn apparel space, creating designs for projects such as the Randy Johnson number retirement line, MLB in-venue food graphics, MLB Hot Market, and NHL player-specific customs.

The role required close collaboration across multiple departments, including production, sourcing, creative assets, license management, and merchandising. He also researched graphic design trends using company tools and through travel, using those insights to inform new creative concepts and product development.
